About us

My name is Jacob Mellish and I founded Mellish Earthworks to bring quality work to clients and provide an excellent workplace for Vancouver Island employees.

My career began working civil construction in Victoria and then later transitioned to major projects across Canada. Seeing both sides of the industry I identified two key issues, the first being finding a contractor that produces a high quality finish product while being reliable and transparent with pricing. The second problem being local wages for the employees forcing talented people off the island to chase higher wages doing remote work.

At Mellish Earthworks are committed to creating an excellent workplace for talented individuals, keeping vancover islands best at home. For the client that guarantees high quality work and peace of mind knowing that the crew working your project is the best of the best.
